Travelodge by Wyndham Florida City/Homestead/Everglades

Very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Pool looked nice and clean. Laundry facilities were clean and working well (3 dollars for washing, 3 dollars for drying). Parking is free and you got your own spot in front of your room. It feels very safe. There are cameras outside and an employee doing rounds every night. The location is perfect to use as base to visit the Everglades or the Keys. Right beside this Travelodge is very, very good place to get some food, with something for everyone. It's called "Healthy Kitchen 33 & Baba shokry". It seems to be the only place in town where you can get vegetarian / vegan food (and it's very good), but they also have a lot of options with meat. Also great shakes. These guys are really friendly and definitely deserve your business. At 15 minutes walking (or a few minutes by Uber), there is a nice craft beer bar, called Exit One. This Travelodge is great value for money. We recommend staying with them.

We stayed here for 4 nights in April while we explored the Everglades, Florida Keys and Miami. Location: Very well-situated, close to the Everglades where we spent a lot of our time. It was just a 40 minute to 1 hour drive away from Miami. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Within walking-distance of a few fast-food places. The owner gave us a map of all of the food in the area when we arrived. Parking: Ample parking available onsite with a space for you right outside your room. WiFi: No connectivity issues. Bed: Comfortable and large. We had some trouble with the pillows though. They were too soft or too hard. Swimming Pool: Clean and lovely! I did not swim but my partner did and said it was very nice. The pool is fenced with recliners for you to sunbathe on. Staff: Very friendly and down-to-earth. Helpful and incredibly lovely. You could really tell that they care a lot about the property! Bathroom: Shower and toilet is separate from bathroom sink area. Toiletries and towels were provided. Fridge: We had a small fridge in which we were able to store our food and drinks.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with the added convenience of a fridge and microwave. Parking right outside the door was a big plus, and the location was ideal for what we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. .

We loved our stay here! The staff were friendly and helpful from the get go. The room exceeded our expectations - spacious, clean and quiet. The location is great and so was the breakfast! We wouldn't hesitate to come back again, a it's excellent value for money. I don't think I have ever stayed in a Travelodge quite like this one.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness of the property and the personnel everywhere sweeping and cleaning the exterior of the property was amazing. This is an older motel that has been taken care of by the current owners. If you’re looking to book for the race weekend or even a motel close to Key Largo, this is a perfect choice. There are plenty of walkable choices for food and gas.
